About This Role
As a Senior People Partner at Covered Insurance Solutions, you will play a key role in transforming HR operations, enhancing the employee experience, and fostering a culture of excellence. This role requires a strategic and hands-on HR professional who can build strong client relationships, provide white-glove service to employees, and ensure compliance across all states of operation. You will manage leave of absence (LOA) administration, compliance, performance management, employee relations (ER) cases, tracking key HR metrics, leading HR system and tool implementation, and overseeing benefits, vendor engagement, and administration.
About You And Your Experience
- 7+ years of experience in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance, preferably in a fast-growing or multi-state organization.
- Deep knowledge of employment laws, LOA regulations, and HR compliance across multiple states.
- Experience handling performance management and employee relations cases with a strategic, business-oriented approach.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate HR metrics into actionable insights.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to provide concierge-level HR support.
- Experience in HR system and tool implementation (HRM, ATS, Payroll systems) with a proven track record of successful deployment and process optimization.
- Proven experience in benefits administration and vendor management, ensuring optimal employee offerings and cost management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience with HRIS and reporting tools is a plus.
Role Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- HR Operations and Employee Experience
- Partner with business leaders & managers to drive a seamless and engaging employee experience.
- Provide exceptional HR services, ensuring that employees & managers receive proactive, responsive, and high-touch support.
- Help streamline HR processes, identifying areas for operational improvement and automation.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Help support Performance and Employee Relations (ER) cases, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure all comply with federal, state, and local employment laws across all company locations.
- Manage LOA administration, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues.HR policies and procedures
- Data, HR Metrics, and System Implementation
- Track and analyze key HR metrics, such as attrition, engagement, and performance trends.
- Provide data-driven insights. Enhance HR reporting capabilities to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support HR system and tool implementation including HRM, ATS, and Payroll systems, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
- Benefits Vendor Engagement & Administration
- Oversee benefits vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service and optimal program delivery.
- Ensure accurate benefits administration, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, and life event changes.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, including ACA and state-specific requirements.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
