We are currently recruiting for a
Talent Acquisition Director to join the IPL Global team in Dublin. Managing a team of three, you will be responsible for Group Talent Acquisition across the IPL European (6 sites) and North American divisions (10 sites). This is an exciting time for the IPL Talent Acquisition team as we continue our change journey in 2025.
Please note that this is a specific purpose contract role to cover maternity leave. This is a hybrid role, the IPL office is based in St Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
As a Talent Acquisition Director You Will
- Be accountable for the full spectrum of Recruitment and selection activities across the group including senior and executive positions.
- Be accountable for designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience.
- Establish and implement Talent Acquisition strategies that enable business strategy and have a long-term (3+ years) impact on business results in alignment with global organisation objectives, ensure those strategies influence Leadership, mid-career, and graduate hiring.
- Partner with Leaders across the Group to track the hiring needs of the business.
- Partner with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met.
- Develop fit for purpose hiring processes and policies, with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure policies and procedures grow as the company grows
- Effectively and efficiently oversee due diligence and integrate new businesses from a Talent perspective.
- Inspire as a leader and unifying force for employees; cultivate an inclusive environment where people are fully valued, supported and challenged to grow in a safe working environment – to drive attraction, retention, and engagement.
- Provide regular, consistent, and transparent communication and interaction with the CEO and ELT members about business activities, potential threats, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements.
- Complete regular performance reviews with your team, manage attendance, disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Previous experience in a senior Talent Acquisition role with a Global remit in a Manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of ATS systems.
- Experience driving continuous improvements across a Talent Acquisition function.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Experience operating within an ambiguous environment with the ability to flex and change as needed.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain a high performing team.
- Advanced consulting, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to ensure strategic alignment with multiple parties.
- Highly self-motivated to develop strategic, tactical, and operational direction.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate and bridge across functional boundaries, as well as an ability to build a Network across a wide range of individuals and organizations.
- Strong business acumen and able to develop a team with a focus on both internal and external customer satisfaction.

- Ability to travel as needed .
