We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Director to lead and shape the human resources strategy for the company. You will be responsible for driving a people-first culture, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, and managing all aspects of human resources across our global operations. This position is critical to ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and high performance. The ideal candidate will be skilled in overseeing a diverse workforce, including contractors, and managing HRIS systems, payroll, and employee relations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive global HR strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, mission, and business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR matters, including organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development. Monitor HR trends and best practices, ensuring the organization remains competitive in talent acquisition and retention strategies. Talent Acquisition & Development Manage the entire recruitment process, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and leading contract negotiations for roles across the global business. Coordinate with external search firms when needed. Oversee onboarding for employees and contractors, ensuring a seamless integration into the company, including orientation and training. Manage the probation review process, providing feedback and recommendations for successful completion. Lead the performance review processes and work with employees and managers to develop improvement plans. Develop robust succession planning and leadership development frameworks to build a strong leadership pipeline. Employee Engagement & Culture Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and recognition across all levels of the organization. Mediate and resolve conflicts in a fair and transparent manner. Regularly assess employee satisfaction and engagement through surveys and feedback mechanisms; lead initiatives to address areas of improvement. Build and promote a positive employee experience across all locations, ensuring consistency with the company’s values and goals. HR Operations & Compliance Develop and implement global HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure consistency and compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including the Employee Handbook. Manage compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity. Monitor local market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness. Manage the HRIS system ensuring data accuracy and maintaining updated records for employees and contractors; optimize HR technology and systems to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Provide oversight for employee relations, ensuring fair resolution of workplace issues. Oversee payroll processes for employees and contractors globally, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely payments. Manage the visa application process for new hires, ensuring timely and compliant submission of required documents. Assist employees with relocation processes, including visa sponsorship, logistical support, and acclimation to new locations. Manage global benefits programs, collaborating with benefits providers to handle enrollment, claims, and renewals for multiple geographies. Change Management & Organizational Development Lead HR’s role in mergers, acquisitions, or other organizational changes, ensuring a smooth transition and integration. Guide the organization through change initiatives, focusing on minimizing disruption and ensuring alignment with business goals. Partner with leaders to design and implement strategies for organizational effectiveness and transformation. Role Requirements Minimum of 10 years HR experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on global HR management and expertise in managing HR operations for both employees and contractors globally. Strong working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements in Singapore, US, Australia, and other regions. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a geographically dispersed team. Strategic mindset but willing and able to be very hands-on when needed in a scrappy, ‘start-up’ environment. Highly collaborative with a cross-functional mindset but self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion. Experience managing global employee relations cases. Experience with high volume recruitment for a global business. Proven experience conducting interviews and managing recruitment processes. Minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a HR certification highly desirable.
