Job Description: Talent Acquisition Manager
Based in the West Sussex Region
Hybrid working in the office at least 2 days per week.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our high-volume internal recruitment team. This role is pivotal in supporting our organization's growth by ensuring we attract and retain top-tier talent across various functions, with a strong focus on engineering and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of experienced and trainee recruiters, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and development.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives, emphasizing proactive sourcing, talent pipelines, and innovative hiring approaches.
- High-Volume Recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for a high volume of positions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with senior management and hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and provide strategic talent acquisition advice.
- Employer Branding: Enhance our employer brand through effective recruitment marketing strategies, employer value proposition development, and candidate engagement initiatives.
- Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to track recruitment metrics, optimize processes, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders on recruitment activities and outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment function, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline processes and enhance candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- Management Experience: Proven experience managing and developing a high-performing recruitment team.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable recruitment plans.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in recruiting for a mixture or corporate, engineering, manufacturing, and/or operations roles, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex recruitment challenges effectively.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adaptability.
Ideal Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong recruitment experience, with experience in a leadership or management role.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience with Workday
