Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our driven team during an exciting period of growth. This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, make a meaningful impact, and help shape the future of Annee’s.
As the Human Resources Officer , you’ll deliver key people programs with a focus on health and safety, employment relations, recruitment, and capability development . You’ll have the unique opportunity to standardise processes and work closely with external HR consultants to design and implement best-practice HR solutions tailored to a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Health & Safety: Implement and coordinate robust health and safety programs to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety (a major focus for the next 6–12 months).
- Employee Relations: Advise employees and managers on HR policies, workplace relations, and procedures to foster a positive work environment.
- Recruitment: Partner with shop teams to attract top talent, manage end-to-end recruitment processes, and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
- Performance & Development: Assist with performance reviews and support the creation of a systemised development program across the business.
- HR Program Implementation: Collaborate with external HR consultants to design and deliver impactful programs while taking ownership of internal execution.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the skills to support our ambitious growth plans. You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- 3 + years’ experience in a similar role within a retail or hospitality environment.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A good understanding of health and safety, employment relations, and recruitment.
- Understanding for the application of Awards and the NES.
- Positive, motivated and ambitious attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Driver’s license and Australian work rights
