Your Role
Join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator. In this role, you’ll support a team of HR professionals with a focus on supporting the Talent Acquisition team in full cycle recruitment administration . We wish to hire the right person and are therefore flexible on the location which can be based in Toronto, ON, Ottawa, ON or Calgary, AB. This position will be a hybrid of remote and onsite work.
We’re looking for a team player who is passionate about human resources with a keen interest in recruitment and who is driven to grow their career with the support and mentorship of the Human Resources team. You’re a strong multi-tasker, are dedicated to exceptional client service, and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Assisting the Talent Acquisition team with job postings, drafting employment agreements, interview coordination and other duties as requested
- Preparing reports including monthly new hire reports and other metrics as requested
- Managing the employee referral process, and bonus requests
- Liaiseing with a third-party service to manage background checks
- Managing invoices related to recruitment activities
- Verifying the weekly new hire list and communicate as appropriate
- Preparing onboarding plans for new hires
- Assisting with the campus recruitment program
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
- At least 2 years previous experience in Recruitment or Human Resources
- Previous experience working with an ATS system is preferred
- Bilingual in English and French would be an asset but is not required
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines
- You’ve built strong relationships with team members to provide seamless coordination of new hire processing while providing timely updates, including preparing positions for posting, offer letter creation, and coordination of background screening.
- You’ve worked independently on deliverables and have consistently met deadlines
- You’ve prioritized, organized, and managed multiple schedules and human resource related projects efficiently
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word processing and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software applications
