Position Summary:
Director of Human Resources
As our Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's people strategy, talent development, and culture. Reporting directly to the President, you will lead a team of HR professionals and drive initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead & Scale Our HR Team
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team that drives business success.
- Foster a people-first, high-performance culture in a rapidly growing environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on all HR-related matters.
Build a World-Class Talent Strategy
- Develop and implement progressive talent acquisition strategies to attract top engineering and technical professionals.
- Lead workforce planning and organizational design to support rapid growth.
- Drive succession planning and leadership development to ensure a strong internal pipeline.
Champion Our Company Culture & Employee Experience
- Cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that fuels innovation.
- Design and execute employee engagement and retention programs to support a highly motivated workforce.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across all levels.
Elevate Performance & Development
- Oversee learning & development (L&D) initiatives to upskill and empower employees.
- Drive a culture of continuous feedback, coaching, and professional growth.
Build Competitive HR Programs
- Develop and manage compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and HR best practices.
- Use HR analytics and data-driven insights to optimize workforce strategies.
Lead Change in a Fast-Growing Environment
- Drive organizational change and HR transformation to support business expansion.
- Implement modern HR technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop policies and initiatives that enhance collaboration, agility, and workplace productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in a fast-growing company within engineering, life sciences, F&B, or bioindustrial sectors.
- Deep understanding of engineering/technical workforce challenges and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while balancing strategic and operational HR priorities.
- SHRM or HRCI certifications highly desirable
