About the Job
We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead and manage a team of HR representatives and recruiters. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized.
Responsibilities
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Creating and revising job descriptions, overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Conducting annual salary surveys
- Developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
- Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
- Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
- Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
- Performing benefits administration
- Maintaining affirmative action programs
- Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
- Overseeing exit interviews
- Maintaining department records and reports
- Participating in administrative staff meetings
- Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 5+ years’ experience of human resources management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Employment laws and regulations
