What You’ll Do
The Director, People & Culture is the HR Business Partner to several divisions including Media & Entertainment, Digital, and several corporate functions. The Director is responsible for shaping and driving the organization’s people strategy, focusing on fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and developing talent to achieve the company’s business objectives.
What you’ll be working on
- Serve as the first point of contact for leaders and employees in the divisions you partner with, fostering effective relationships across the team to create and implement talent solutions.
- Guide and advise managers in driving a performance-driven culture, coaching them on providing effective feedback to unleash the potential of their teams.
- Manage employee relations issues, applying sound judgment to resolve concerns while adhering to legal/regulatory compliance and company policies.
- Partner with divisional leaders to manage human capital budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support people initiatives
- Drive talent programs such as performance management, compensation planning, learning and development, on/offboarding, and employee engagement.
- Develop strategies to attract, develop, retain, and integrate talent to support divisional objectives
- Lead organizational change initiatives, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth transitions and change management processes.
- Utilize human capital metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in HR practices.
- Partner with People & Culture centers of excellence on cross-functional projects including total rewards, people operations, and talent acquisition.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting a workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or work equivalent. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HRBP role.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in media, entertainment, or digital organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership, employees, and external partners.
- Both strategic and hands-on in how you approach your role

- Exceptionally organized and proactive with demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bring disparate perspectives together towards common goals.
- The ideal candidate is also passionate, creative, and intellectually curious.
- Strong technical skills (MS Office Suite) and experience with HRIS platforms (ideally UKG and CultureAmp)
Primary Location Salary Range:
$150,000 - $170,000 base
