As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager to lead the operational and technical aspects of our HR function. Position Summary
The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR systems, benefits administration, compliance, and process optimization across all business units. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless HR operations, allowing HR Business Partners to focus on strategic people development.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Management & Optimization
- Oversee the configuration, functionality, and optimization of the HR Information System (HRIS) to enhance user experience and efficiency.
- Partner with HR and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Develop HR technology solutions that improve reporting, analytics, and process automation.
Benefits Administration
- Manage and administer company benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors and employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations and industry best practices.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Oversee compliance with OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state employment regulations.
- Implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the main contact for compliance audits and reporting.
Process & Policy Improvement
- Develop and enhance HR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Identify and implement best practices for HR operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 5+ years of experience in HR operations, benefits administration, or HR compliance.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (ADP preferred, Workday, UKG, SuccessFactors, etc.).
- Deep understanding of employment laws, benefits compliance, and HR policies.
- Experience managing HR audits, reporting, and system integrations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
