Position: HR & Payroll Manager
Location: Central London - Onsite
Salary: £40-£45k annual remuneration (pro rata).
Hours: Part -Time
We are working with a leading hospitality group specialising in fine dining restaurants and events. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and combined goals, the team are constantly improving and moving forward. Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced HR and Payroll manager to oversee all aspects of HR and payroll processes and to work with the Operations and Finance team on a part time basis, helping us further drive this core function.
What we are looking for:
- Previous HR and payroll experience within the hospitality industry.
- Highly responsible and organised person with good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Attention to detail and confidentiality are a must
- Proactive and able to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Experience of Fourth is a bonus
HR & Payroll Manager duties and responsibilities:
- Managing the administration function for the HR Office across the group.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and finance departments, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating recruitment activities.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork, schedule orientations, and coordinating exit interviews.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns, escalating to management as needed to ensure a positive employee experience as we put our people at the forefront of our business.
- Support HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and training and development activities and help us further develop and improve team retention rates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to HR and office administration.
- Taking ownership of employee record keeping and maintenance of our HROS ( Currently Fourth)
- Managing the administration function for the HR Office and ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding.
- Processing payroll, auditing and verifying timekeeping records, managing deductions and overtime and ensuring salary payments are compliant.
- Work with our training manager to ensure that all training records are up to date and that we have development plans for key team members.
