Job Overview – Talent Acquisition Lead – 33449
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to lead the recruitment efforts for industrial positions across our client's organization. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, ensuring timely hiring, and supporting the strategic growth of our workforce. You will oversee one direct report and collaborate with hiring managers and HR to meet staffing needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment efforts for industrial requisitions, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for roles in manufacturing, logistics, and skilled trades.
- Manage one direct report, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
- Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop talent acquisition strategies.
- Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, community outreach, etc.) to attract top talent.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Oversee job postings, screen resumes, and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications.
- Coordinate with external staffing agencies when necessary for hard-to-fill positions.
- Ensure compliance with legal, organizational, and best-practice recruiting policies and procedures.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics to senior management, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring practices in industrial sectors.
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on industrial recruiting.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing a small team or direct report.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting strategies and best practices, particularly for blue-collar roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Experience with hybrid work environments and managing recruitment activities both remotely and on-site.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.
