We are seeking a dynamic
HR Content Writer to join our HR and Enterprise Change team, reporting to the Manager, HR and Enterprise Change, and working closely with the Internal Communications team. This role will oversee the development and execution of HR communications initiatives, including email, Vine, slide support, and coordination of communications within the People and Business Services (PBS) function. Responsibilities include managing personnel announcements, supporting executive-level communications, and driving employee engagement campaigns. The ideal candidate will ensure consistency in messaging, maintain an editorial calendar, and collaborate with various teams to align communications with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Communications:
- Partner with the Enterprise Change Team to manage the development and execution of HR communications initiatives.
- Manage each project accordingly and ensure the project is executed according to projec timeline.
- Partner with Enterprise Change team to support the broader People and Business Services function (Centers of Excellence (COEs) within it) in writing email, Vine and other communications.
- Write and manage approval process for leadership personnel announcements (new hires, promotions)
- Develop communications campaigns and messaging that ties to corporate priorities and PBS messaging.
- Ensure a consistent People voice & brand across all deliverables.
- Projects include but are not limited to: email communications, internal company news articles, internal website content, internal PowerPoint deck content and design.
Operational Support
- Partner with the COEs in PBS and Corporate Communications to ensure teammates are kept abreast of communication projects.
- Manage the PBS editorial calendar in partnership with Corporate Communications. Lead weekly calls to ensure alignment on deliverables.
- Manage the approval process for all communications, which includes obtaining feedback from the COE point of contact, Corporate Communications, and Legal Affairs.
- Support the development and maintenance of communications guidelines / templates / processes / procedures.
- Take ownership of uploading and managing edits provided during legal review process within Veeva platform.
- Web/digital/content creation and management for Change Management site and Vine (Enterprise Intranet).
- Reporting into the Manager, HR and Enterprise Change, and liaising with the Internal Communications team, this individual will manage the development and execution of HR communications initiatives.
- Partner with Enterprise Change team to support the broader People and Business Services function (COEs within it) in writing email, Vine and other communications in addition to slide support, and coordination of PBS communications.
- Manage Personnel Announcements process and communication development.
- Executive Director and above new hire and promotions.
- Partner with the COEs in PBS and Corporate Communications to ensure teammates are kept abreast of communication projects.
- Provide updates to the PBS PMO on communications weekly.
- Manage the PBS editorial calendar in partnership with Corporate Communications weekly.
- Manage and update the PBS calendar of events/key communications.
- Develop communications campaigns that promote employee engagement and culture, and build alignment and support for the People Team's vision, strategies and priorities.
- Ensure a consistent voice & brand across all deliverables.
- Support development and maintenance of communications guidelines / templates / processes / procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Degree and/or focus preferably with a concentration in communications, journalism, graphic arts, or related discipline.
- Corporate writing experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Powerpoint experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience specifically in HR Communications
