Senior People and Culture Coordinator
The Senior People and Culture Coordinator will play a critical role in advancing our People and Culture initiatives and fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong people skills, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership and Team Members to promote a culture of inclusivity, growth, and performance excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage People and Culture key projects through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Provide assistance to design and implementing programs that foster employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Measure the effectiveness of initiatives through surveys and feedback, making necessary adjustments to enhance impact.
- Creation of presentations for Board meetings and committee meeting materials related to People and Culture.
- Plan and coordinate various People and Culture events, including team-building activities, workshops, training sessions, and employee recognition programs.
- Develop and implement communication plans to promote events and encourage participation.
- Create engaging materials, including invitations, agendas, and presentations.
- Manage Quarterly Talent Assessment process, including maintenance of Talent Assessment profiles for Director and above roles, and creating and maintaining Talent Assessment profiles for Manager roles.
- Provide support to launch High-Performance Team program.
- Coordinate the implementation of competency by levels and incorporate into all People and Culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with Senior Director People and Culture to implement comprehensive job success profiles that define key competencies, skills, and behaviors required for each role.
- Regularly review and update job success profiles to reflect changes in roles, market trends, and organizational needs.
- Gather feedback from users to assess the effectiveness of profiles and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports for leadership on trends and insights related to job success profiles.
- Incorporate the Employment Brand concepts through People and Culture programs.
- Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly.
- Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values.
- Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day.
- Coordinate Organizational Design Project Phases: Collaborate with external vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful execution of organizational design initiatives, including implementing recommendations and outcomes.
- Manage Job Descriptions: Oversee the storage, organization, and template management of job descriptions, working closely with recruitment teams to ensure their maintenance and updates.
The Qualifications:
- 2-3 plus of relevant experience in People and Culture, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field work
- Knowledge of People + Culture processes, computer programs, administrator, and coordinator experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate/interact with all levels of Team Member both written and verbal.
- Successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring an elevated level of accuracy.
- Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Success at executing plans, project management, follow up, dealing with ambiguity and adapting to rapid change.
- Work with a sense of urgency and understand importance.
- Success with multi-tasking and prioritize work with competing deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details.
- Must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- The ability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry, cold).
- The ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
- Must be able to identify, assess and observe detail.
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend and twist.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
