Recruitment Strategy Development: Lead the charge in developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy focused on hourly, non-exempt positions across multiple departments and geographic locations. Tailor innovative recruitment methods to the unique needs and dynamics of each facility, ensuring we build a diverse and inclusive candidate talent pool that reflects the communities we serve.
- Comprehensive Candidate Sourcing and Evaluation: Implement a variety of sourcing strategies, leveraging job boards, social media platforms, and attending industry networking events to uncover potential candidates. Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments of each candidate’s background, skills, experiences, and overall fit with our organizational values and role specifications.
Strategic Partnership with Hiring Managers: Foster collaborative relationships with hiring managers to gain insight into their team dynamics, culture, and specific staffing requirements. Work hand-in-hand with them to create detailed and accurate recruitment profiles, ensuring hiring criteria reflect our company’s strategic goals and cultural aspirations.
- In-Depth Candidate Qualification: Employ advanced behavioral interviewing techniques, competency assessments, and skills evaluations to rigorously qualify candidates. Perform detailed background checks and reference verifications, ensuring that every applicant meets our stringent standards for quality and cultural fit.
Proactive Hiring Plan Formulation: Develop and execute a strategic hiring plan that addresses immediate staffing shortages while maintaining our rigorous quality standards. Build credibility and trust with hiring managers through transparent communication, regular updates on recruitment progress, and well-organized candidate presentations.
- Interview Coordination and Feedback Analysis: Take charge of organizing and facilitating on-site interviews, ensuring a memorable and positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. Collaborate with hiring managers to thoroughly analyze feedback from interviews and reference checks, making informed recommendations on candidate suitability.
Offer Preparation and Seamless Onboarding: Prepare competitive and compelling job offers for selected candidates, addressing any questions or concerns with clarity and professionalism. Oversee a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance, resources, and support to facilitate a smooth transition into the company.
- Applicant Tracking System Management: Efficiently utilize and maintain our applicant tracking system to streamline the recruitment workflow and ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. Document and track all recruitment efforts meticulously to ensure alignment with diversity and inclusion objectives.
- Qualifications and Requirements:**
Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on recruiting experience is required, with a proven track record of executing successful recruitment campaigns and yielding high-quality hires within the retail sector or similar fast-paced environments.
Skill Set: An exceptional ability to organize and prioritize tasks while analyzing and resolving complex situations effectively. A proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic settings and can navigate competing priorities without compromising on quality.
Collaboration and Communication: Outstanding interpersonal abilities with a knack for building and nurturing long-lasting professional relationships. A strong sense of urgency and resourcefulness are essential, complemented by a collaborative attitude that promotes teamwork.
Technical Proficiency: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the Workday applicant tracking system or similar software will significantly enhance your effectiveness in managing candidate data and streamlining the recruitment process.
