🚀 Your role:
As we continue to grow, we’re seeking our first Senior People Partner to lead and manage people operations in Switzerland while also driving strategic people initiatives. In this expanded role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Head of People, team leads, and employees, bridging operational efficiency with strategic people projects. This position is pivotal in fostering an engaged, high-performing workforce while continuously improving processes, policies, and programs.
Beyond ensuring that core people operations run seamlessly, you will lead cross-functional people initiatives, develop innovative people strategies, and act as a key partner in shaping our organizational culture and employee experience.
🔍 What you’ll do:- People Operations (50%):
- Oversee and optimize the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and all transitional phases, ensuring exceptional employee experiences
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee inquiries related to benefits, leave, payroll, policies, and employment law compliance
- Maintain and improve personnel records, data accuracy, and system functionality within our HRIS (Hibob)
- Oversee payroll input and collaborate with our Finance Manager to ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll cycles
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while proactively updating policies to align with organizational growth and market changes
- Develop and manage people analytics, delivering actionable insights to guide data-driven decision-making and shape organizational strategies
- People Business Partnering & People Projects (50%):
- Lead and execute strategic people projects, monitoring and improving total rewards programs (incl. designing innovative benefits programs), performance & growth management, implementing engagement surveys, and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Partner with the Head of People to design and implement strategic people initiatives, such as talent development programs, succession planning, and change management
- Collaborate with leadership and managers to address complex employment-related challenges
- Continously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across all HR functions, driving forward-thinking solutions and best practices
- Serve as a culture ambassador, contributing to initiatives that strengthen team collaboration and organizational alignment.
🛠️ What you’ll need:- 6+ years of experience as an HR Generalist across a full range of HR topics in a fast-paced tech or startup environment
- Comprehensive understanding of people operations, compensation structures, employee relations and HR compliance requirements
- Strong affinity for people, process simplification, and problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an organized manner
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Detail - oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate systems and records, coupled with the ability to handle project ambiguity and complexity while always building for scale
- Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing organization
- Data-driven mindset with experience in people analytics, translating metrics into actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in both German and English (verbal and written)
