What does a successful HRBP, NZ do at Fiserv?
The HRBP, NZ plays an instrumental role in the entire employee life-cycle through fostering Fiserv’s culture and employee experience; providing coaching and guidance to managers and employees, in conjunction with the HR Director.
What You Will Do:
- Provide full spectrum HR support and advice to management and staff on all HR functions including but not limiting to talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, performance and compensation planning, learning & development, succession planning, organisation development and effective leadership practices.
- Be the go-to HR Business Partner for all HR related advice and support; with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Be able to provide strategic advice and support; yet with the ability to roll up the sleeves to be hands-on where necessary
- Proactively partner with other HR functions within Fiserv to identify the best solutions and guidance for employees and the business
- Ensure HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitor effectiveness through the tracking of key metrics
- Effectively build harmonious partnerships with employees and managers across the organisation
- Collaborate with assigned client groups to support initiatives by understanding of the organization's objectives, issues, needs and critical success factors
- Proactively identify and address HR challenges and opportunities, which may affect the execution of business plans
- Work with managers in the development of high quality solutions, action plans, and appropriate metrics, which may include developing effective skills, competencies and systems in support of business goals and talent requirements
- Play a lead role in co-ordinating Employee Social Governance (ESG) activities, including giving back, Diversity and Inclusion and employee wellbeing plans.
What You Will Need To Have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR Business Partner role with a working knowledge of the full talent management platform, with specific emphasis in performance management, employee relations and talent mobility
- Knowledge of legal requirements related to day-today management (coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary actions)
- Ability to establish trust and build productive relationship at all levels of the organisation
- Recognised as a key resource for employees and managers who is approachable and effectively facilitates coaching conversations
- Results oriented, self-motivated and driven, while demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence, accustomed to working in a hands on manner to accomplish multiple priorities
- Having strong analytical, critical thinking, influencing and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise good judgement in all decision making
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Partner with HR specialist functions in order to meet various objectives and facilitate resolution of employee issues
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, prepare HR metrics reporting.
- Detailed oriented, a critical thinker and comfortable in navigating ambiguity
- Resilient, agile, flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment
What Would Be Great To Have
- Experience in Tech or Finance industry is preferred.
- Exposure to Workday is preferred.
