Job Summary
The Senior Director, People & Culture Business Partners plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing human resources strategies aligned with the organizational goals. This role is responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative culture while driving initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development. Provides guidance to executives, managers, supervisors, and employees.
Essential Functions
- Develops and executes HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
- Partners with senior leadership to understand business goals and provide strategic guidance.
- Drives the development and implementation of HR initiatives to support organizational growth and change.
- Leads and mentors a team of People & Culture Business Partners (P&CBP).
- Fosters a high-performance culture within the P&CBP team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous development.
- Provides guidance and support for complex HR issues and initiatives.
- Oversees employee relations strategies, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Leads the P&CBPs to address employee concerns, conflicts, and performance management issues.
- Works closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Works closely with the Leaning & Development team to develop and implement talent development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Assesses and improves P&C processes to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Leads initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure P&C initiatives are integrated into business operations.
- Communicates P&C strategies and initiatives effectively to all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Ten (10) years progressive experience in Human Resources
- Five (5) years people management.
- Strong consultative skills, partnering with client groups to understand business strategy / challenges, provide guidance, analysis and recommendations on complex matters.
- Ability to influence, engage, and partner closely with leaders across all levels of the organization in planning, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Proactive and able to manage competing priorities, delivering quality work in a timely manner and communicating status to key stakeholders.
- Ability to operate at both the strategic and operational levels (i.e., strategic thinking and ability to operationalize) to drive results.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing projects from inception through execution.
- Must be able to work on-site at KEEN HQ in Portland 2-3 days per week or as needed.
Travel Required: Yes up to 5% of work time will involve travel
Base Salary: $185,000.00 - $200,000.00 yearly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
