Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a hands-on HR Manager’s role responsible for tackling recruitment, engagement and culture initiatives, as well as supporting other aspects of the employee lifecycle, to create a differentiated employee experience. The suitable candidate will care deeply about how people work best, what motivates success and their passion for work.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures aligned with UK employment law and regulatory requirements ensuring they also reflect company values and objectives
- Support the implementation of HR tech solutions to streamline workflows
- Create and maintain guidance resources for managers and employees on using automated systems effectively
- Create and maintain process documentation to ensure processes are repeatable and scalable
- Measure the impact of process improvements and report on outcomes
- Implement changes and updates made to our compensation and benefits structure.
- Monitor benefits and keep up to date with external market trends.
- Communicate with hiring managers to get a clear view on their hiring needs and organisational goals
- Maintain the recruitment plan and reporting requirements alongside the overall budget
- Initiate onboarding processes, background checks communicating with the new joiner and stakeholders
- Establish new joiner reward and benefit registrations
- Deliver and design inductions presentations for new starters
- Support in the delivery of our People strategy

We require an individual with energy, authenticity, gravitas and charisma – capable of initiating and nurturing relationships with skill, experience and passion.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR/people role
- Experience developing a people strategy within a high-growth environment
- Knowledge of employment law
- Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
- Emotional intelligence, able to develop strong relationships
- An excellent connector who collaborates, problem solves, and can help celebrate wins while learning from mistakes
