Are you a recent graduate seeking an opportunity in Human Resources? We have two opportunities to join our Human Resources (HR) team within our Reward and Employee Relations Teams.
Our Human Resources team is known internally as our People Team and provides support to our colleagues on people related matters. The Team is split into centers of expertise which includes policy and guidance, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, wellbeing, training and development and reward.
About the role Reward
Our Reward Team is a Centre of Expertise within the People directorate, focused on developing and delivering frameworks and policies related to Compensation, Benefits, Recognition, and Wellbeing. This role provides the opportunity to assist with various reward activities, including policy development, job evaluation, benchmarking, pay reviews, and benefits planning.
You will support on People initiatives and projects, developing project plans and overseeing their implementation. You will analyse complex data to provide insights, recommendations, and solutions, while also monitoring success. Additionally, you'll build a strong understanding of Reward processes, policies, and best practices.
About the role Employee Relations
Our Employee Relations team is a Centre of Expertise within the People Directorate covering individual and collective case management, handling employment litigation and providing expertise on people policies and employment law. You will also support people projects, and manage industrial relations, working closely with trade union partners and colleague reps.
In this role, you will research current and best employee relations practices which will allow you to develop an awareness of employment law. Using your analysis of data, you will make recommendations and coordinate activities to deliver projects. In addition, you will develop your awareness of our employee handbook and policies.
About you

The successful candidate will be able to manage a varied workload, using strong attention to detail and analytical skills to inform decision-making and ensure high-quality outcomes.
You will have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborative effectively within teams. In addition, you will be solution-focused, using your excellent verbal and written communication skills to write reports and analyse metrics.
You will have an interest in creating positive working environments, using your degree in any field that could bring value to this role.
