This role is onsite five days per week in our Mountain View, CA office.

What you'll do

People Strategy & Culture – Develop and execute a high-impact people strategy that drives business objectives, reinforces our demanding yet supportive culture, and ensures extreme alignment across the organization.
Employee Experience & Engagement – Build initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Performance Management & Development – Implement rigorous performance review processes, career development programs, and training initiatives that drive excellence, growth, and high performance at all levels.
HR Policies & Compliance – Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations (EEO, Wage & Hour, FMLA, etc.). Develop, maintain, and enforce employment policies and handbooks, ensuring adherence to best practices and a fair, high-performance work environment.
Compensation & Benefits – Design and refine competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent in a high-intensity, mission-driven environment.
Leadership & Coaching – Act as a trusted advisor to executives and managers, providing strategic guidance on people-related challenges and fostering strong leadership across the organization.
HRIS Implementation & Optimization – Lead the implementation and continuous optimization of an HRIS to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making.

What we're looking for

Minimum of ten years of Human Resources and related experience, with progressive management and leadership responsibility
Proven track record in a senior People leadership role, preferably in a high-growth, high-performance, and mission-driven environment.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align people initiatives with business goals in a fast-paced, execution-focused company.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in both the US and Canada.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive alignment and influence at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a demanding, results-driven environment where individuals are expected to take initiative and complete things with urgency.
