CPS Gorup are working with a leading IT Consultancy who have an excellent opportunity for a People Business Partner to join the business.

The role will initially be on a 6 month Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced People Business Partner, with a primary focus on Employee Relations while also contributing to culture, strategy, and organisational change. This is a key role in ensuring we provide expert guidance to managers, uphold best practices, and create a positive and high-performing workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Acting as the go-to expert for Employee Relations, handling complex cases including disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE, and performance management.

Advising and coaching managers to drive best practice in HR policies, processes, and employment law.

Supporting culture and engagement initiatives, ensuring our values are embedded in everything we do.

Partnering with the wider People team on organisational change, talent development, and strategic projects.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience within a similar People / HR role

Strong Employee Relations experience – comfortable handling complex cases and providing expert guidance.

A proactive, hands-on HR generalist who can hit the ground running.

Solid understanding of HR policies, processes, and employment law.

Experience in organisational change, culture, and engagement initiatives.

Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.

CIPD qualification preferred but not essential
