Position Overview

The Manager, People and Culture / HRBP will play a key role as a member of the global People team by advancing our People strategy in the US and contributing to global initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of People and Culture, this individual will manage HR programs, initiatives, and policies that align with organizational goals. Acting as the HR Business Partner (HRBP) for a key business line, they will provide strategic support to leadership and oversee critical projects aimed at building.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HRBP Support for a Business Line:

Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations.
Collaborate with leaders to develop strategies that align people initiatives with business goals.
Provide support and coaching to managers to enhance leadership capabilities and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Program Management and Development:

Build and Scale: Lead efforts to build and scale HR programs, ensuring they are adaptable to a growing and dynamic workforce.

Key Programs: Design, implement, and manage People team programs, such as:

Talent Management and Succession Planning
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives
Employee Engagement and Retention Strategies
Career Development Pathways and Training Programs

Continuously assess the effectiveness of programs, using data to drive improvements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

People Function Expansion:

Partner with the global People team to standardize and scale HR practices across the organization.
Identify and implement tools, technologies, and processes to modernize and expand the People function.
Develop frameworks to ensure the scalability of HR policies, processes, and programs as the organization grows.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

Serve as a resource for employees and leaders, addressing employee relations matters promptly and effectively.
Partner with leadership to develop and sustain employee engagement initiatives that align with company culture and values.
Implement proactive strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, and foster a positive work environment.

Operational Excellence and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Oversee HR operations and contribute to the optimization of HR systems and processes.
Support reporting and analytics efforts to provide insights into HR metrics and trends.

Collaboration and Leadership:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in HR initiatives.
Act as a mentor and leader within the People team, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Champion a collaborative, innovative, and data-driven approach to HR management.

Qualifications:

Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP and program management roles.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Skills:

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
Proven ability to design, scale, and implement HR programs that align with organizational goals.
Solid understanding of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices in the US.

An ideal candidate will reside in one of our North American hub locations but not required

Greater St. Louis, MO - Greater Toledo, OH - Greater Chicago, IL

Travel: Able to travel ~Quarterly to our North American Locations (St. Louis, MO, Toledo, OH, Chicago, IL, etc.) for meetings, events, business engagements as needed.

Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
