DESIGNATION : Talent Acquisition Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overarching Responsibility: We are looking for a skilled and seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee the creation of a Talent Pipeline and effectively manage our Data Collection and Workflows.

Role Responsibilities:

Craft and publish job descriptions and job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms.
Utilise diverse sourcing techniques such as social media, employee referrals, and networking to find potential candidates.
Review resumes to identify candidates who meet the position's requirements and conduct phone interviews for further evaluation.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and conduct reference checks when necessary during the hiring process.
Devise and execute effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract qualified talent.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding.
Use recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing channels, predict hiring needs, and optimise strategies for building the talent pipeline.
Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment workflows, leveraging technology and automation to improve efficiency.
Maintain and grow a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs, ensuring a robust and diverse talent pool.
Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and internal policies.
Collaborate with HR teams to facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and set up for success.
Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote open positions and the organisation's values.
Engage in other People-related projects and initiatives as required.
Stay up-to-date with the latest recruiting trends and best practices, actively participating in professional development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent (preferred)
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail to ensure that all recruitment processes and paperwork are completed accurately and on time
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience or background in the Early Childhood sector is an advantage
