Responsibilities

The appointee will be required but not limited to:

perform account servicing role to academic and administrative units in the areas of recruitment and selection, performance management, benefits administration, employee relations and staff development;
assist in the formulation, administration and implementation of policies and strategies in human resources planning and management including reviewing and drafting of relevant policy papers;
oversee the development and administration of the C&B function including monitoring its compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, proposing strategies to implement changes and overseeing the maintenance and system enhancement of the HRIS;
plan and oversee the organization of staff engagement activities;
provide secretarial support to committees;
perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The appointee should:

possess a Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management / Business Administration or a related discipline;
have at least 8 years’ solid managerial experience in human resources areas, preferably gained in tertiary institutions and C&B administration;
demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
be meticulous, flexible, analytical and with high level of integrity; and
be able to work independently and under tight timelines.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
