Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team. The Junior HRBP will support day-to-day HR operations, with a primary focus on administrative tasks, payroll processing, employee relations, and onboarding. This role is ideal for an HR professional looking to grow their career and gain hands-on experience in various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Assist with maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy in the HRIS system.
Prepare and process HR-related documents, such as contracts, offer letters, and employment verifications.
Manage HR correspondence and respond to general employee inquiries.

Payroll Processing:

Assist with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely assistance and support.
Work with the Finance team to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate payroll records.
Assist with the administration of benefits and deductions as they relate to payroll.

Onboarding and Recruitment Administration:

Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientations, collecting necessary documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Manage recruitment trackers to ensure all candidate data is accurately maintained and accessible for reporting and analysis.
Oversee the processing of I-9 forms and ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification requirements.
Coordinate background checks for prospective employees, liaising with third-party vendors as necessary.

Employee Relations:

Provide support in addressing employee concerns, ensuring a fair and consistent approach in line with company policies.
Participate in investigations and document findings related to employee relations issues.
Assist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys and team-building activities.
Support efforts to foster a positive workplace culture by promoting HR programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Experience using UKG strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with exposure to payroll, onboarding, and employee relations.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and basic knowledge of payroll processing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with recruitment tracking and onboarding processes.
Familiarity with I-9 compliance and background check procedures.
Knowledge of payroll software and/or HRIS platforms.
Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
