What You Can Expect To Be Doing

This role involves leading recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering partnerships with industry organizations, forecasting talent, workforce planning, and supporting talent development initiatives
Design and execute the recruiting strategy, overseeing all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process, including recruitment and onboarding activities across multiple locations
Lead and supervise recruitment staff and recruitment coordinator, providing guidance and support in executing recruitment initiatives
Support the creation and execution of talent development programs and initiatives to foster employee growth and engagement
Execute business talent reviews under the direction and leadership of the executive director
Track and report on candidate pipeline status, providing insights and recommendations for optimization

Leadership: Demonstrates strong leadership skills in guiding and supervising recruitment staff, providing clear direction and support to ensure successful execution of recruitment initiatives
Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute recruiting strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, while also developing and implementing workforce planning tools to forecast staffing needs for various departments
Customer Focus: Ensures excellent candidate care and customer service to primary stakeholders, maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Collaboration: Collaborates effectively with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and Line Management leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration
Continuous Improvement: Drives operationalization and optimization of all recruitment activities to achieve continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing best practices
Compliance: Ensures compliance with affirmative action and employment laws, maintaining alignment with federal, state, and local regulations, while also adhering to company policies and procedures
Partnership Development: Cultivates partnerships with industry organizations and universities to enhance recruitment efforts and pipeline development, expanding the talent pool and strengthening the company's brand
Adaptability: Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to jump in where needed, effectively balancing working and leading responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the organization
Communication: Actively participates in internal and external communications related to talent acquisition and talent management, effectively conveying information and building relationships with stakeholders
Initiative: Takes initiative in executing business talent reviews and other assigned duties, demonstrating a proactive approach to driving talent development initiatives and supporting organizational objectives
Compliance Requirements (ES): The minimum compliance expectation for this role entails strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing sales and marketing activities
- This includes completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of sales interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations
- Additionally, the role requires proactive participation in compliance reviews, prompt reporting of any potential issues, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant FDA regulations

What You Will Bring To The Table

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources roles, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Strong skills in Excel
Experience with rolling out a new ATS (Workday)
Demonstrated experience in designing and executing recruiting strategies, overseeing all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process, including recruitment and onboarding activities across multiple locations
Strong understanding of affirmative action and employment laws, with a proven ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Experience in supervising and leading recruitment staff, providing guidance and support in executing recruitment initiatives
Proficiency in workforce planning tools and techniques to forecast staffing plans for various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and Line Management leaders
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to track and report on candidate pipeline status, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing working and leading responsibilities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced) and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software
