Focuses on ensuring overall cleanliness of kitchen areas, in particular pot wash machine, dishwasher, crockery area, floors, and associate canteen.

Previous experience working within a Kitchen or similar environment preferred.
- Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
- Pro-active and reliable.
- Able to work alone and within a team.
- Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of the house areas.
- To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of pot wash machine and dish wash machine, and cleaning on a daily basis.
- To ensure that all crockery is handled correctly to minimize breakages.
- To ensure the Kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
- To carry out thorough cleaning of all equipment in the kitchen
- To ensure that all cleaning schedules are followed and signed daily basis.
- To be fully aware of the:
- Global food and safety audit 43 check points
- Accident Report Procedure
- Maintenance Fault Reporting Procedure
- Fire Policy for your department
- To understand how the hotel’s Health and Safety Policy affects your department and how it links in with the rest of the hotel.
- To carry out all reasonable instructions given to you by a supervisor.
- Ensure all SOP’s are followed – Human Resources, Brand Standards and Health and Safety, and Grooming standards.
- Performs other related task as assigned by Management.
- Complies with The Forest of Arden Hotel policies and procedures.
- Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than your contracted hours.
