The Talent Manager at DramaBox is responsible for discovering and managing exceptional talent to meet the creative needs of our vertical shows. This includes collaborating with external agencies, negotiating contracts, and spearheading social media strategies to promote DramaBox’s star program and attract fresh talent. The role combines creativity, strategy, and relationship-building to ensure a pipeline of dynamic talent for our productions.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Scouting & Management
Partner with casting directors, talent agencies, and model agencies to scout new talent that aligns with DramaBox’s creative and aesthetic vision.
Evaluate DramaBox’s existing talent pool to identify individuals with the potential to sign exclusive agreements.
Negotiate rates and contracts for exclusive talent agreements, balancing creative goals with budgetary constraints.
Social Media & Brand Building
Develop and implement social media campaigns that highlight DramaBox’s star program, showcasing its value to external talent.
Collaborate with talent to create engaging social media content that amplifies their visibility and promotes company productions.
Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
Relationship Building & Coordination
Act as the primary liaison between DramaBox and external casting directors, talent agencies, and model agencies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals to ensure a steady flow of high-quality talent.
Work closely with the production and marketing teams to align talent management efforts with broader company initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Talent Management, Film Production, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience working with talent agencies, representing talent, or managing talent and agent relationships.
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex contracts and rate discussions.
In-depth knowledge of market trends, industry developments, and hit shows, with a keen ability to identify what types of talent fit specific genres effectively.
Extensive understanding of vertical storytelling formats and emerging trends in the entertainment industry.
A strategic mindset and creativity to act as a one-person MCN, with the ability to evaluate talent for brand alignment and genre suitability.
Experience creating and managing social media campaigns to promote talent or brand programs.
Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
