People & Culture Advisor– Llansantffraid (SY22 6AQ) / Hybrid

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Personnel Development Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Adopt a commercial focus to support management teams to effectively resource, enabling delivery on strategy
- Work alongside management teams to ensure appropriate training and development, facilitating effective operations and succession
- Coach and support management teams to handle absence, performance, conduct and capability issues to achieve high performance
- Design and implement processes aligned to our cultural values, ensuring management teams are equipped to deliver the People Management and Development Framework
- Effectively handle a wide range of Employee Relations queries both over the phone and face to face
- Continuously review and improve policies to reflect legislative changes and cultural values
- Support the team with the development and implementation of HR Systems solutions
- Generate best practice ideas, supporting and promoting our First Choice Employer brand
- Promote recruitment initiatives to ensure best fit talent is secured
The Person:
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience operating commercially within a HR/Personnel function
- Hold a recognised degree level Human Resources qualification or have equivalent experience
- Be an enthusiastic, pragmatic and hardworking professional
- Have attention to detail with the ability to communicate with stakeholders
- Be able to work closely within a team whilst also working under own initiative
- Be able to successfully organise and manage a varied workload
