Wychavon Leisure, operating under the brand “Rivers Fitness,” is a not-for-profit social enterprise managing four sports and leisure centres across the Worcestershire area, in partnership with Wychavon District Council.
As the Managing Director, you will lead our organisation in promoting health, well-being, and community engagement through leisure activities.
This exciting new role will hold full accountability for ensuring Wychavon Leisure remains a well-run, profitable organisation, which reaches local communities and beyond.
This role will attract someone with a high level of drive, commitment and a broad range of skills which will support them in providing strategic direction to the Trust whilst maintaining a strong working relationship with Wychavon council.
We are seeking a strong, supportive leader who, with the support of the team, can continue to drive the Trust forward through vision and innovation, developing excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.
Not afraid to make difficult decisions when needed, the successful candidate will oversee all operations and business activities to ensure results are consistent with the overall strategy and objectives of the business.
To apply for this role, you must have at least five years’ experience in a senior leadership position.
Experience of working in a senior role that reports directly to a Board of Trustees/Directors would be advantageous.
