The People Relations Specialist plays a pivotal role in fostering a productive workplace through advising managers and employees on HR policies and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The position focuses on supporting early to mid-level managers in applying performance management expectations and policies effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining a positive work environment and facilitating compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The People Relations Specialist may be required to work in the Coinbase London office on a periodic basis to build stakeholder relationships and support in-person HR activities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide support to employees and managers (M6 and below) in the application of Coinbase HR policies and procedures
- Advise employees and managers on HR policies and practices
- Perform intake and recommendations related to interpersonal conflicts and potential policy breaches, escalating issues to the appropriate DRI (HRBP, Legal)
- Ensure managers are following Coinbase performance management procedures, including documentation, case management and corrective action plans
- Use level of judgment to determine and facilitate outcomes of performance improvement plans, including termination of employment
- Maintain People Relations playbooks and processes, working with key stakeholders for input and sign-off
- Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
What we look for in you:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in human resources
- Intermediate understanding of HR principles, HR-related laws and regulations
- Excellent problem solver
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within team
- Ability to develop clear and concise verbal and written communications (English required)

Pay Range:
£54,000—£60,000 GBP
