What are we looking for?
As a member of the People Team, you will have a focus on supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new hires into TCEU. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the administrative and logistical aspects required for a smooth process, liaising with internal stakeholders, prospective hires and ultimately ensuring a positive experience when joining the business. You will actively demonstrate our values on a day-to-day basis and ensure they are central to the People agenda.
What will be your responsibilities?
This role offers an opportunity to grow and develop into all areas within HR, your role will touch multiple areas which include:
Recruitment:
Coordinate and assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and extending job offers, issuing contracts, maintaining Statements of Work (SOWs)
Onboarding:
Develop and facilitate a comprehensive onboarding process for employees and contractors, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees have the necessary equipment, access, and training.
Conduct orientation sessions to familiarise new employees with company policies, culture, and values.
Provide ongoing support to new employees to address questions and concerns during their initial months.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all employees and contractors have a valid right to work.
Ensure timely and compliant contracts extensions.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations (IR35), and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records in our HRIS, HiBob.
Prepare and distribute HR reports related to recruitment and onboarding activities.
Payroll and Benefits Support:
Prepare the monthly payroll file for approval.
Support the administration of employee benefits programmes, including enrolment and inquiries.
Processes:
Support the development and improvement of HR processes.
Policies:
Support the creation of new policies, and review and update the existing ones.
Admin Support:
Assist with administrative tasks within the wider People Team, including employee travel policy.
Training and Development:
Support compliance training completion and coordinate tracking of training requests.
Coordinate company training plan logistics i.e. meeting / room booking
Track training registration and budget utilisation

Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
