What You Can Expect
We are seeking an experienced (Senior) Internal Communications Manager to join our international team. The successful candidate will develop and execute internal communication strategies to inform, engage, and inspire employees across all levels of the organization only Germany and beyond. This role is critical in promoting a unified company culture and ensuring that employees are energized to pull together to ensure the AVIV Group keeps growing from strength-to-strength.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Communication Strategies:
- Create and execute comprehensive internal communication plans aligned with company goals, values and business objectives
- Ensure consistent messaging across all internal channels.
- Continuous improvement and growth adoption of fledgling intranet
Content Creation:
- Write, edit, and distribute internal communications with a focus on rich media and dynamic content
Employee Engagement:
- Build the agenda and organize and coordinate company events from cradle to grave
- Collaborate with HR and other departments - including Tech and Commercial to promote employee engagement initiatives.
Feedback and Analytics:
- Gather employee feedback through surveys and focus groups.
- Analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make improvements.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis
Change Management:
- Develop communication materials that support change management initiatives.
- Communicate effectively during periods of change or organizational transitions to mitigate resistance and ensure employee uptake
Qualifications
What you bring with you
- Global mindset
- At least 10 years of experience of navigating employee communications - especially through crises, change and transformation
- Positive can-do attitude and deep self awareness to dial up and down approaches accordingly to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Knows when to jog and when to sprint
- Ability to fail quickly and continuously improve and share
- Deep desire and tenacity to help bring about change and tangible impact
- Demonstrable experience in helping influence cultural change, transformation and employee engagement
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Language skills German native, fluent English and French is highly desirable
A plus would be
- Leadership both in and unofficial capacity
- Video editing
- Experience and interest in leverage AI
