Position Summary:
At Illumina, our people are our most important resource. We are looking for a dedicated Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist to become one of them, and to help us find them. As a TA Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and hiring talents with the goal to fulfill business’ needs.
To be a successful TA Specialist in Illumina, you need to be innovative and forward thinking in providing solutions for acquiring talents. The ideal candidate should be familiar with social media and its applications in TA, has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized and detail-oriented, remains up-to-date with employment law and legislation, and keeps informed in company hiring plans.

Position Responsibilities:

Recruit for all positions for Illumina Singapore’s Manufacturing and R&D sites located in Woodlands

Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and work with hiring managers to identify the talent pool in anticipation of business needs

Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent

Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions

Work closely with hiring manager and HRBP to create compensation packages for successful candidates, and see-through offer closure with successful negotiations with candidate

Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity

Keep up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforce them within the company to ensure compliance

Prepare recruitment reports, analytics and presentations for reporting purpose

Organize and host employer branding events and recruitment drives

Innovate and execute projects to improve recruiting process

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in sourcing techniques including LinkedIn, ATS mining, social media, etc.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

Candidates with experience in a recruitment firm or in an in-house Talent Acquisition team specializing in the Lifescience, Medical Devices or Semiconductors industries are preferred

Adaptable and able to navigate within a complex recruitment model / environment

Experience in developing sourcing strategies and managing multiple recruitment channels to deliver recruitment targets within budget

Possess continuous improvement mindset and know how to maximize recruitment processes and procedures to provide best in class service to the business within available resources

Ability to deal assertively with conflict, and remain positive when under pressure

Independent and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
