Summary Of Work
The Talent Acquisition Manager in our Human Resource Division leads the recruitment and outreach team members. This position manages the full life cycle of talent acquisition from outreach activities and sourcing candidates through the screening/selection and hiring processes. The ideal person for this position will be passionate about exploring ways to enhance our workforce and build talent pipelines. Problem solving skills, interpersonal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail are beneficial.
Duties Will Include
- Administer agency wide recruitment and selection processes, procedures, and policies to assure the selection of quality candidates in conformance with applicable state/federal laws, rules, and guidelines. Collaborate with the hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Partner with state colleges to increase exposure and recruitment opportunities. Create social media marketing for upcoming events and open positions.
- Serve as subject matter expert on job classifications. Analyze and provide recommendations for reclassifications. Process requests and provide guidance regarding job descriptions and classifications.
- Serve on statewide talent acquisition related groups and represent NDDOT.
- Respond and provide guidance to recruiting/outreach team members, hiring managers, and others on a variety of HR questions for respective program areas.
Minimum Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to guide a team, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple job openings and projects at one time. You must have experience screening and evaluating applicants.
