To support our expansion, we're seeking an experienced Senior People Partner to work at our amazing office in the centre of Copenhagen., where you will play a key role in aligning our day to day work experiences at BLAST with our overall business strategy.
Role overview:
You will work closely with our P&C Team, who are located in both Denmark and the UK, and help further develop and drive a cohesive organisational culture across locations, which is important to our future business strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who truly thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is wholeheartedly passionate and curious about people and their requests.
As a Senior People Partner at BLAST, you will be a strategic advisor to our C-Level and senior staff and a day to day people partner to all our employees across locations.
You will work together with and support our senior leaders to ensure that our employees thrive day to day within BLAST and you will do that by acting as a senior "generalist" and by driving HR and P&C initiatives and projects that support our rapid growth and awesome people.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7-8 years of profound HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or business partner role preferably in a scale-up or similar
- Proven track record in supporting rapid growth and international expansion
- Proven track record in entering new countries
- Proven track record in bridging the gaps between cultures
- Ability to think strategically while also being day to day hands-on in executing and driving global P&C initiatives
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to connect with and inspire employees and leaders at all levels
- Experience with international HR, including knowledge of cross-cultural dynamics and how to bridge gaps between a diverse workforce
- Understanding the needs and motivations of a young, dynamic workforce, with a focus on engagement, feedback culture, career progression and personal development
- General and profound knowledge of the entire employee experience
- Proven track record in Danish employment law and DK/EU legislation in general
- The ability to approach challenges head on with both a human and analytical perspective
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
Key Responsibilities in collaboration with the P&C Team:
Strategic People Partnering:
- Work together with senior leadership (SLT) and C-Level to align people initiatives with business objectives, also focusing on supporting our expansion into new locations
Culture:
- Help foster a strong company culture across countries
- Drive initiatives that keep our workplace engaging, creative, professional and aligned with our culture
Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement people initiatives to enhance our employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being, keeping in mind the needs of a young and diverse workforce
Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted senior people partner and support with expertise on behaviour, conflict resolution, employment law, and team structure to foster culture, where we all learn and develop
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, empowerment, self-awareness and inclusive behaviour
Culture carrier:
- Support change initiatives related to re-structures, general changes and expansion, including integrating new joiners, adapting to new markets, and managing the cultural shifts that come with growth and expansion
Performance & Development:
- Oversee performance and career development processes that motivate and drive success.
- Coach leaders on managing young talent, providing continuous feedback, and fostering growth
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Help ensure all HR practices comply with local laws and (EU)regulations across countries.
- Stay updated on HR trends, especially those relevant to a younger workforce
DE&I:
- Champion DE&I initiatives, ensuring our teams are diverse, inclusive, and representative of the markets we're entering
Talent Management:
- Implement and help drive creative recruitment strategies tailored to young, dynamic professionals across countries
