About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Cultural Program Manager who will play a critical role in fostering a positive and inclusive company culture by designing, implementing, and managing a variety of employee engagement and cultural initiatives in partnership with our e-commerce client.
- The position is to work on-site, in San Jose.
Responsibilities:
Your work will focus on promoting a cohesive company identity across various locations and teams, ensuring that the company’s values and goals are reflected in daily practices, recognition programs, and events, by collaborating with leadership, HR, and other departments to drive programs that enhance employee satisfaction and build community within the organization.
- Design and implement programs that empower women in engineering and product teams, creating opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and networking.
- Organize events tailored to the needs of the community at various locations, promoting local cultures while maintaining company-wide consistency in cultural values.
- Oversee recognition programs, including awards, that celebrate employees’ achievements and contributions, fostering a culture of appreciation and motivation.
- Lead the coordination of informal learning sessions (brown bags) where employees can share knowledge, learn new skills, and engage in meaningful discussions.
- Organize and manage keynote speaker events featuring industry experts and thought leaders to inspire and inform employees across the organization.
- Identify and develop partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders that can enhance the cultural programs and contribute to the company’s broader diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of cultural programs, track engagement, and report on progress to leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in program management, particularly in cultural or employee engagement roles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience working on initiatives related to diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Ability to analyze data, gather insights and apply feedback to improve programs.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience developing women-centric or diversity-focused programs.
- Strong network within external speaker circuits or professional partnerships.
- Prior experience in internal communications or employee relations.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for US Program Manager is $90.000 USD to $110.000 USD per year.
