Job Description
The Communications Manager – Water Division will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Communications to develop a comprehensive communications strategy supporting the company's growth initiatives. You will manage strong partnerships with C-suite and global business/regional leaders, while developing and delivering comprehensive external and internal communication strategies. Provide strategic counsel and support to internal stakeholders in developing and implementing division-wide strategic communications plans.
This position serves our
Water Heating Division, and is based in
Roswell, Georgia. This is a hybrid positon.
Responsibilities
- Partner with domestic business units, enterprise, and global business leaders to develop strategic communications solutions aligned with organizational strategy, mission, vision, and values.
- Lead the development and execution of division-wide communications plans, key messages, content, and multi-channel programs in alignment with Rheem's strategic priorities.
- Build trusting relationships with key leaders. Serve as a strategic partner, providing communication counsel and coaching to internal stakeholders.
- Manage messaging cadence, sequence, and volume of communications across business and for top-line initiatives.
- Develop and implement change management communications plans supporting organizational priorities and identified business outcomes.
- Lead planning, presentation development, and successful execution of communications deliverables for key internal and external events, programs, and projects.
- Create comprehensive communication strategies focusing on and strengthening employee engagement.
- Lead end-to-end execution of company-wide town hall meetings, including content development with C-suite, presentations, run of show, digital mediums, moderation, Q&A, surveys, and speaker feedback/coaching aligned with strategic priorities.
- Manage the publication of compelling intranet content and deployment of email communications for internal audiences.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including teams, departments, and vendors, to build strong content campaigns communicating stories, initiatives, and driving employee understanding/engagement.
- Drive execution of routine communication touchpoints (town halls, webinars, presentations, emails, newsletters, etc.) aligned with organizational priorities.
- Proactively seek new communication methods and optimize existing options.
- Support the coordination, development of public relations programs, materials, and editorial calendars.
- Support crisis communications with oversight from Sr. Mgr. of Communications, leadership and legal.
- Develop and provide feedback on projects containing graphic design elements such as executive presentations.
- Design key performance indicators to measure and track results, communicate progress, and ensure accountability. Measure effectiveness through regular KPIs and benchmarks; hold self highly accountable.
- Oversee management of third-party vendors, consultants, agencies, designers, printers, freelancers, and associated budgets to ensure strategic and cost-effective utilization.
- Track timelines and deliverables to ensure projects run on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, PR or related field.
- 7+ years developing and managing communication strategies.
- Experience with Water Heating, HVACR, or other similar industry strongly preferred
- Exceptional writing/editing skills, detail-oriented, proficient in AP style.
