Primary Responsibilities
Provide direction and leadership for the team, consistent with the MGM Resorts brand. Responsible for leading the team in achieving operational and financial goals. Responsible for monitoring the performance, scheduling and training of the staff; maintaining the departments' guest service in accordance with MGM Resorts standards, ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.
- Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Casino Marketing.
- Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Front Services, Pool , Front Office, F&B and Executive Offices.
- Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on key strategies of guest service, employee relations, team cooperation, financial responsibility and asset management. Ensures effective execution of all people programs that support employee engagement and accountability.
- Utilize guest service satisfaction performance metrics from Guest View, TripAdvisor, Yelp and internal inspections to generate action plans to address service deficiencies/goals in the area of process improvement, training and employee performance management.
- Develops and executes strategies that maintain a competitive advantage within the market and maximize revenue. Direct the business in the most efficient way, maximizing revenue in order to surpass budgeted objectives and contribute to short- and long-term profitability for the property.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of prior relevant experience
