Position Summary:
The Manager, Talent Management is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company’s business goals and support its talent acquisition, retention, and development objectives. This includes recruiting top talent, managing employee performance, fostering employee engagement, and spearheading succession planning and career management.

Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company.
- Implement the company’s employer branding strategy to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Lead the development of a full candidate lifecycle experience from sourcing, recruitment, internal stakeholder, partnerships and management, offer, on-boarding, integration and career path planning.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop and publish bespoke marketing campaigns to ensure the attraction of top-caliber candidates.
- Implement and maintain a robust applicant tracking system to streamline recruitment processes, track candidate progress, and generate reports for analysis.
- Accurately track the progress of each open position to ensure the executive committee and hiring managers are updated and aware of open roles and their status.
- Continuously review the company’s talent acquisition and hiring processes to ensure they meet the needs of the business and make recommendations to move the recruitment practice forward.
- Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including passive candidates, through social media, professional networks, and other channels.
- Develop strong relationships within the marketplace to grow your network and industry contacts while also ensuring you are a true ambassador for the brand.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition, always ensuring compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, university, and other talent sources to enhance the company’s recruitment efforts.
- Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the performance management system.
- Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
- Collect, analyze and maintain data gathering to inform leadership development and succession planning.
- Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications:
- College-educated. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and emerging trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.
- Extensive experience in sourcing and attracting top talent, utilizing various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
