We are currently assisting our client, a global leader, with a Director of Human Resources search in the Los Angeles, CA area. The successful candidate will partner with leadership to drive cultural and business improvements. This is a highly visible position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Function as a member of senior management team setting strategic direction for the success and growth of all businesses
Collaborate with business partners to implement strategic initiatives resulting in continuous improvement, enhanced employee engagement, improved working relationships, and positive business results
Identify high-performing, high potential individuals to help build plant bench strength and succession planning
Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, attracting and retaining a talented and skilled workforce
Lead and execute programs through local leadership and the Human Resources Managers that builds and sustains a culture of high employee engagement and sense of belonging
Research and identify strategic opportunities that positions compensation programs and practices as a competitive advantage
Partner with senior operational management on the development and implementation of employee communications plans and programs across the operation

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business related degree
Ideally 10+ years' of experience in challenging senior HR positions with deep knowledge of manufacturing operations
Human Resources experience supporting a manufacturing environment preferred
