Premier full-service law firm with offices in California is seeking an experienced Director of Administration & Human Resources to lead firm-wide HR operations and administrative functions. Ideal location based in Sacramento or San Francisco, this key leadership role oversees HR strategy, talent management, and compliance while supervising Facilities, IT, Risk, and Records departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR strategy, talent acquisition, and performance management for 40+ employees.
- Act as a trusted advisor to firm leadership on HR policies and compliance.
- Oversee employee relations, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning.
- Supervise non-attorney personnel and provide strategic direction to Facilities, IT, Risk, and Records departments.
- Ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws.
Ideal Candidate:
- 10+ years of HR and administrative leadership experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Experience managing 25+ employees in a structured in a professional, multi-department setting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PHR, SHRM, or CLM certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $150,000 – $180,000 (DOE).
