We are a group of colleges in the Tees Valley; Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training and The Skills Academy. Education Training Collective (Etc.) delivers a full range of courses, training and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as professional and commercial courses. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Group Head of Marketing & Recruitment ensure successful brand positioning, student recruitment growth and enhanced student onboarding processes across the Education Training Collective, reporting to the Group Marketing & Business Engagement Director. As the leader of a small, multi-faceted but incredibly impactful team, you will be a strategic thinker, you will be solutions focussed and use your natural ability to ensure that students of all ages, across the Tees Valley and beyond, have access to the best information, advice and guidance, which results in them being positioned and wanting to take advantage of the fantastic learning opportunities within our college group. What you’ll do:
• Develop and execute an inclusive, dynamic marketing strategy aligned with college strategic priorities.
• Lead the advertising and promotion strategy at the college and group level.
• Develop systems and processes to ensure that the Etc.’s student recruitment targets are met.
• Foster a customer-focused culture, ensuring stakeholders have positive experiences.
• Regularly review and enhance Etc.'s brand reputation at local, regional, and national levels.
• Collaborate with strategic partners and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and align with key initiatives.
• Collect and analyse information to understand stakeholder needs and Etc.'s capacity to meet them.
• Manage, develop and produce high-quality, accurate publicity and promotional materials.
• Effectively plan and manage resources to meet targets within agreed budget provision The type of person you will be:
• Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in marketing, student recruitment or a related field.
• Experience: Proven track record creating positive relationships with stakeholders, delivering on high-quality student experiences, and ability to effectively lead a multi-faceted team
• Knowledge:
o In-depth understanding of post-16 education including adult provision
o Up-to-date knowledge of the education sector, its challenges and funding streams
• Motivation: High degree of motivation to achieve demanding performance targets – both process and experience based.
• Relationship Building: Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, businesses, and stakeholders.
• ICT Proficiency: Skilled in using ICT for tracking performance, delivering presentations, and management reporting.
• Resilience: Flexibility, stamina, and reliability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Interpersonal Skills: A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Analytical Skills: Experience in collating and utilising education intelligence and labour market intelligence effectively to inform plans for future growth

• Hybrid working pattern – work from any Etc. location and working from home is available
