We are exclusively partnered with a global charity who are at forefront of developing actions to rid the world of one of it's most deadly diseases.
They are looking for a Head of People & OD over a period of 6-months during a period of transformation and restructure. Reporting to the Executive Director, with responsibility for a team of six. The role requires a strategic and operational leader to drive organisational effectiveness and culture.
Key Challenges and Priorities:
- Managing multiple payrolls across various countries.
- Navigating complex contract arrangements and benchmarking exercises.
- Supporting potential structural changes following the new organisational strategy.
- Balancing a relational approach with the ability to set firm boundaries.
- Handling the transition to more office presence in Brighton.
- Supporting directors in translating strategy into structural changes.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations while facilitating organisational transformation.
- Juggling the complexity of international HR operations (different contracts, payrolls, benchmarking)
Experience required:
- Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD in the UK, or equivalent) or relevant experience and continuing professional development
- Extensive HR specialist knowledge with the ability to advise at a senior level and design workable solutions to complex problems
- Proven senior HR management experience in an international context
- Experience with organisational change
- Experience of working in an international charity or NGO
- Ideally, someone with "battle-hardenedness" or exceptional skills to handle the transformative period
Contract:
- 6-months FTC
- £70,000 (FTE equivalent)
- March start date
- Brighton office location - flexible working supported
- 8% pension contribution
