Our client, ZIM Integrated Shipping Services , is looking for a Vice President Human Resources to join their successful team.
Reporting to the President of ZIM Canada, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics affecting all Canada-based ZIM employees.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage HR operations for all Canada-based employees.
- Oversee payroll compliance and management.
- Lead organizational change initiatives.
- Enhance employee engagement and performance management.
Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree in business or HR-related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 7 years in an HR managerial position.
- Strong background in HRIS (preferably ADP and/or SAP HCM), labour relations, payroll, benefits & compensation management, and organizational change & development.
- Experience in managing payroll and ensuring payroll compliance both from a legal and global compliance perspective.
- HR experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
