The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Leader to join our HR team. In this role, you will play a critical part in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within our organization and across our portfolio companies. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, ensure a seamless recruitment process, identify "rock star" talent, and create a positive and memorable candidate experience.This five-day in-office position is located in New York City.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that supports the organization's growth objectives, focusing on identifying and attracting high-quality candidates.
- Build a dynamic recruitment function and team for the entire platform, including portfolio companies.
- Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic guidance on workforce planning and talent management.
- Oversee the design and execution of effective sourcing strategies, including employer branding initiatives, to enhance the company's visibility as an employer of choice.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from application to onboarding, implementing best practices in communication and engagement.
- Utilize analytics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, making data-driven adjustments to enhance outcomes and improve processes.
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with legal requirements and company policies, mitigating risks related to hiring practices.
Ideal Profile & Characteristics:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR analytics tools.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and best practices in recruitment and selection.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on the financial services sector. Asset management or insurance industry experience, a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies that align with business goals.
- Experience building recruitment function, processes and team.
Salary: $135,000-180,000
