Position Overview
We’re seeking a Brand Manager to ensure Our Client’s provocative spirit shines through every touchpoint—from their website, to email campaigns, social media, and the unboxing experience. You’ll share their vision and steer their brand identity, making sure their messaging and imagery stay consistent, edgy, and true to their ethos. Your experience in producing and executing messaging and content will be key as you source and manage freelance designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters.
Responsibilities
- Brand Consistency
- Manage a cohesive brand image, content and tone of voice across all customer-facing channels, including social, website, email, print, and packaging.
- Be the voice of authority when it comes to our brand pillars and personality
- Creative Direction
- Make Our Client’s bold essence comes alive in messaging and visuals.
- Take the lead in visual direction for all e-commerce content, ensuring that product photography and videos authentically represent the brand and appeal to target audiences.
- Content Management
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with our product pillar goals. Ensure content is consistent with brand messaging and drives engagement and conversions.
- Content Creation: Produce high quality lifestyle photos and videos for our website, social media and newsletters to help drive brand awareness and engagement. Source and manage creative professionals (designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers), ensuring their work aligns with Our Client’s brand standards.
- Content Calendar: Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with key marketing initiatives and product launches
- Content Updating: Consistently update content on our social media channels, e-commerce platform (Shopify), with captivating descriptions and high-quality images that encapsulate our brand’s unique style and character.
- Content Organization: Organize, tag, and manage all content on our content management software platform.
- Content Performance: Monitor and report on content performance metrics on our social channels to continually improve on engagement
- Brand Engagement
- Engage actively with the community through social media, live events, and user-generated content to foster a brand culture that encourages interaction and cultivates loyalty.
- Create initiatives to build relationships with lifestyle influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify reach and enhance brand credibility.
- Create and produce PR events to generate high levels of brand engagement.
- Utilize customer feedback and social listening to create new marketing strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of consumer product experience managing startup brands or small, growing brands, preferably in luxury or disruptive categories.
- Proven experience in creative direction and content management, with demonstrated ability to define and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and high levels of engagement.
- Strong leadership skills in managing creative talent and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills—able to translate high-level brand vision into tangible creative briefs.
- A decisive yet collaborative approach, with a flair for pushing boundaries in design and storytelling.
- Strong personality and energy to authentically represent Our Client and engage with partners and customers.
