DataDirect Networks is seeking a Director, Global Human Resources in our Chatsworth office.
The Director, Global Human Resources has a unique opportunity to help enhance and embrace the culture of DDN by working closely with the senior management team and extended team members. Candidates should have experience optimizing HR processes and a passion for building an employee-focused culture. In this role you will manage the overall Human Resources Global department, policies and programs to the DDN community, reporting to the CFO. More specific, the Director, Global HR will have full responsibility of Talent acquisition, Benefit, Employee Relations, Compensation, Performance Management and Talent Development.

- Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
- Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Specific requirements:

- Will partner with the executive leadership team as the trusted advisor by providing strategic HR support to ensure business needs are met.

- Advise management on risk, while balancing legal requirements and business needs.

- Collaborate with Education to ensure compliance training is delivered and additional requests are met.

- BA degree in business or HR Management.
- MBA a plus
- 7-10 years’ experience in HR; at least 5 year at the director level
- Broad working knowledge of HR : a true generalist
- Experience in managing the recruiting function: hiring, managing recruiters and understanding workforce management and staffing
- Working knowledge of employment/labor law; minimize risk
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior business leaders to drive strategic business decisions
- Have the ability to execute HR programs flawlessly: good communication that is timely and concise
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust.
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and support the organization and multiple changes.
