We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives, drive organizational development, and optimize talent management across the organization.
Position Overview:
The Director of Human Resources will serve as a senior-level leader responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and organizational development. This role requires a highly experienced HR professional with a strong ability to implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals, drive employee engagement, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of HR strategies to support the company's overall business objectives and growth initiatives
- Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to ensure a high-caliber workforce that drives company performance
- Manage employee relations, addressing complex issues and ensuring a positive work environment that fosters high employee engagement and retention
- Provide strategic direction in compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the market and alignment with organizational goals
- Design and implement effective learning and development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career development
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including maintaining HR policies and practices
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Advise senior leadership on organizational structure, change management, and workforce planning
- Cultivate a high-performance culture through leadership development, performance management, and recognition programs
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, legal requirements, and trends in workforce management
- Proven experience in managing large-scale organizational change, talent acquisition, and employee engagement programs
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, including senior executives
- Expertise in employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and labor laws
- Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and solve complex problems
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
